Positives!

Yesterday was a bad day. I was grumpy and unmotivated. Today I have felt so guilty about being so negative. I don't like to be negative and I especially don't like to be negative AND share it on a blog for the world to see!

Someone once told me,"For every negative thought, think of 3 positives." So here are my positives that I can take from my day yesterday.

1. I live 1 mile from my school. So even though I had to be here early, it was a 2 minute commute.
2. My husband and I are blessed with jobs so we can afford to go to the grocery store and buy the things that my family need and want.
3. The groceries are for a camping trip that I am taking with my precious family this weekend.

And to be extra positive....ONE MORE DAY UNTIL SPRING BREAK!

  2. I love the idea of focusing on three positives a day... especially on those "rougher" days we all find ourselves having on occasion! Focusing on the positive can have such a huge improvement on our mindset...so glad that you were able to do this for yourself. Enjoy your spring break...mine is still a month away...agh!

  6. Oh sweet Brittany! I'm glad to know you were born with a belly button like all the rest of us. Staying stuck in the "grumpy" would be the true tragedy, and I doubt this will ever happen to you because you are a silver lining girl! I love your gratitude list. It reminds me of one of my favorite sayings from Brene Brown. "At the end of the day I want to be able to say I contributed more than I criticized." You're contributions are immeasurable, and I am thankful to have a Pollyanna friend like you who knows how to play the glad game.
